A two-day sightseeing tour in Lhasa gives you a general idea about the history of Tibet, its people, and culture. Then, you can enjoy the beautiful highland scenery and travel to Mount Everest, which is the highest peak in the world. You can reach there through Gyantse, Shigatse, and Tingri. Finally, you will visit Mt. Kailash, which is called the treasure of the snow-capped mountain in Tibetan. Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism, Bon (the native religion in Tibet) and Jainism consider Mt. Kailash as the world&#8217;s center. Indians also hold this belief and think that Lord Shiva, possessing the strongest power and highest position, dwells here.
