You will be received at the airport by our representative and given a traditional welcome over there, followed by transfer to Mysore. On arrival, check in to your hotel. Late afternoon Indulge in some sightseeing. Visit Brindavan Gardens - a beautiful garden with colourful musical fountains .
In the morning, visit the Maharaja's Palace, which magnificently combines Hindu and Indo-Saracenic architecture. The Mysore Palace, also known as the Amba Vilas Palace - its construction was commissioned in 1897, completed in 15 years and later expanded around the 1940s.
After lunch, drive to Chamundeshwari Temple on Chamundi Hill for a beautiful panoramic view of the city. On the way you will meet the gigantic bull Nandi, a 5 m high monolith. The city's colourful fruit and spice market offers charming photo opportunities. Overnight stay in Mysore.
Drive to the Nagarhole National Park, also known as the Rajiv Gandhi National Park, about 80 kilometres from Bangalore. The park boasts a healthy prey-predator ratio with a good population of tigers, elephants and Indian bison. On arrival, check into your jungle resort. The afternoon is set aside for a jeep safari into the national park. During the safari, you may see species such as leopard, wild dog, sambar, barking deer, spotted deer, wild boar, Indian rock python, common toad, scimitar-babbler, four-horned antelope, along with 270 species of birds. Overnight stay.
There are plenty of activities to start your day. Choose from an early morning game drive, bird watching in the park or a coracle ride on the Kabini River. In the evening, take an elephant ride or a jeep safari into the park. Overnight at your jungle resort.
After breakfast, drive to the B R Hills, also known as the Biligiri Rangan Hills. On arrival, check into your tents. Later embark on a trekking tour to explore the spectacular wildlife of the BR Hills region. Marvel at the surrounding lush greenery. Overnight in tents.
Day 6 is dedicated to morning and evening wildlife and bird watching in the Biligiri Ranga Swamy Temple Wildlife Sanctuary or simply BRT Wildlife Sanctuary. Spread over an area of 540 km, this park is home to a variety of wildlife including sloth bear, deer, black-tailed hare, common langur, Indian pangolin, small Indian civet, the rare four-horned antelope, clawless otter, Indian porcupine and some 254 species of birds. Overnight in tents.
After breakfast, depart for Bandipur National Park, one of the best known wildlife sanctuaries in southern India. It is also one of the best preserved. On arrival, check into your jungle resort. Enjoy a sumptuous lunch. Then take a jeep safari into the park. Overnight at the resort.
The 8th day of the tour is reserved for morning and evening wildlife and bird watching in the park. The park is home to various wildlife species like Tiger, Sloth Bear, Mugger, Indian Rock Python, Chital, Grey Langur, Indian Giant Squirrel, Indian Chameleon, Indian Pond Turtle, Hoopoes, Indian Roller, Brown Fish Owl, Crested Serpent Eagle etc. Overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive to Ooty, known as the 'Queen of hill stations'. This hill station in South India receives a huge number of visitors every year. Check in to your hotel on arrival. Spend the day at leisure - you can visit popular spots such as the Ooty Lake and Botanical Garden, shop at the local market, interact with the locals, take a stroll through the tea estates etc. Overnight at hotel.
Free Day in Ooty to relax and enjoy spectacular nature. May be go for a Nilgiris train joy ride which has a UNESCO World Heritage status.
On the 11th day of the tour you will travel to Munnar, a beautiful and well known hill station in Kerala. It is also known as the spice capital of the state. Drive to the Eravikulam National Park. Upon arrival, check into your resort. The rest of the day is at leisure - you can go for a nature walk or simply admire the surrounding lush greenery. Overnight at the resort.
After breakfast you will be taken by road to THE HOUSEBOAT on the backwaters. Overnite on the Houseboat
On arrival in Cochin a short sightseeing which may include Mattancherry Palace, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruise Basilica before you will be transferred to the airport in time for your flight to your next destination or Bangalore.
Fly back HOME.
