The saint blessed Akbar and prophesied the birth of three sons to the then childless emperor. Akbar used Fatehpur Sikri as his capital and the city was active for 14 years. Sadly, it eventually became deserted and ruined after Akbar left the city. Water scarcity caused this city to be abandoned.
