After the lunch break, you will explore the spiritual center of the Sikhs: at its heart is, of course, the unparalleled Golden Temple, which dates back to the 16th century. The temple, adorned with gold leaf, is reflected in a small lake surrounded by a palace complex. Thousands of pilgrims (not just Sikhs!) visit the sanctuary, and during the day, verses from the holy book are recited, accompanied by music and broadcast over loudspeakers throughout the complex—the atmosphere created is truly impressive!

Es gibt Gegenden von denen man lange träumt. Mein Traum ist bei der Ladakh Reise mit Manu wahr geworden. Wir haben die vielfältigsten Landschaften und die Herzlichkeit der Leute erlebt und vieles, vieles mehr. Wer nicht nur träumen will der sollte diese Reise mit Manu unbedingt machen. Ich kann sagen dass man noch sehr lange von dieser Reise profitiert und man noch sehr lange "nachträumen" wird.

Ich hatte schon lange davon geträumt, dem Himalaya nahe zu kommen. Und diese Reise war dann viel mehr als das! Die atemberaubendenLandschaften im wahrsten Sinn des Wortes, die nahen weiß glänzenden Bergspitzen, die kargen Gegenden in Brauntönen, das Blau des Sees, die einfachen und so herzlichen Menschen, die uralten Klöster... Es waren tiefe Eindrücke, die Manu uns auch bewältigen half. Wer grandiose Erlebnisse sucht, für den ist diese Reise gemacht!
