Day 01: Arrival in Delhi by flight from your country
Arrive Delhi by International flight . Meeting and assist at the International Airport and transfer to hotel.

Day 02: In Delhi

of Delhi, a huge tower of victory started in 1199 and completed in 1368. The minar is 72.5m high with a diameter at the base 14.4m and 2.7m at the top. Drive past to the Rashtrapati Bhawan once the Viceroy’s residence is now the official residence of the President of India. Designed by Lutyens, it combines western and eastern styles – the dome reflects the Buddhist stupa, the chattris Hindu and the graceful Morning proceed for Delhi City sightseeing. visit the 7th city of Delhi, Shahjahanabad (Old Delhi), built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan (1639-48 AD) after he shifted his capital from Agra to Delhi. Jama Masjid (Friday Mosque) made of red sandstone and white marble, completed in 1656. It is India’s largest mosque where more than 20.000 people can kneel in prayer. Visit Raj Ghat on the banks of the river Yamuna, Mahatma Gandhi’s Memorial, where he was cremated following his assassination in January 1948. An eternal flame burns 24 hours.
Also visit New Delhi. Visit Qutub Minar – the landmark colonnades very British. The Government Buildings designed by Baker, are topped by baroque domes and decorated with lotus motifs and elephants, while the north and south gateways are Mughal in design. The northern building has an inscription with “Liberty will not descend to a people; a people must raise themselves to liberty. It is a blessing which must be earned before it can be enjoyed”. The Parliament House, designed by Baker is 173m in diameter. The India Gate (42m), commemorates the 70,000 Indian soldiers who died in the 1st world war. 13516 names of British and Indian soldiers killed in the Afghan War of 1919 are engraved on the arch and foundations. Under the arch, the Amar Jawan Jyoti commemorating Indian armed forces’ losses in the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971.

Day 03 Delhi / Rishikesh by surface 265 Kms / 7 hours

Later, we will head towards Rishikesh, which is one of the seven most revered Hindu pilgrimage spots in India.. In the evening we witness the breathtaking Ganga Aarti ceremony & Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04 In Rishikesh

We visit the Prati Badri Kedarnath Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, the Lakshman Mandir, where Lakshman meditated to attain enlightenment, and the Lakshman jhula, a famous hanging bridge over the Ganges, before an exhilarating experience of whitewater rafting in Rishikesh before returning to Haridwar. Water Rafting is not obligatory. If someone does not want to do it, we will suggest an alternative plan, eqally interesting.

Day 05 Rishikesh – Sari / 195 km / 7 hrs
Breakfast at hotel.
We start from Rishikesh and drive to Sari, where we stay overnight. We start our journey at 7 am in the morning. This is to ensure that we reach Sari by late afternoon, early evening. The drive from Rishikesh to Sari takes about 7-8 hours and covers a distance of about 200 km.
We will stop for lunch on the way at a local restaurant where we will be able to enjoy some of the delicious local cuisine. The drive is very scenic and takes us through a number of beautiful towns and villages which give us a glimpse of the local culture and way of life.
After dinner we will have a talk about the upcoming walk. Our guide will give us all the necessary trek information including safety, do's and don'ts and other details.
After the briefing we'll have a rest for the night as we have an early start tomorrow. We will need to be well rested for the first day of the trek, which will take us to the Deoria valley.
Overall, day 1 of the Chopta Chandrashila trek itinerary is all about the journey from Dehradun to Sari, with some stunning views along the way. It's a great opportunity to get to know your fellow trekkers and to mentally prepare yourself for what lies ahead of you..

Day 06: Sari-Deoriatal-Sari Trek and then 20 km drive to Chopta
Altitude: 2700 mt
Trek: 3.5 km in 5 to 6 hrs
Stay: in hotel/camp
Today’s Chopta Chandrashila trek takes you through some of the most breathtaking scenery in the Indian Himalayas. You begin the day by trekking from Sari to the Deoriatal Lake, nestled between lush green forests and towering mountains.
You will be surrounded by the sweet chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves as you make your way through the dense forests. The trail is perfect for both experienced trekkers and beginners as it is well marked and easy to follow.
You will be greeted by a breathtaking sight when you reach Deoriatal Lake. The lake's crystal clear waters reflect the snow-capped peaks of the surrounding mountains, creating a dreamy atmosphere difficult to describe.
Take time to explore the area around the lake, enjoy its natural beauty and soak up its tranquil atmosphere. Bird watch or just sit back and relax and admire the beauty of nature.
Spend a little time on the Deoriatal lake, then head back to Sari before heading to Chopta. The drive to Chopta is a scenic one. It takes you through winding roads and picturesque villages.
You will be amazed by the serene beauty and tranquillity of Chopta once you reach it. The village feels like a hidden paradise away from the rest of the world, surrounded by towering mountains on all sides.
Spend your night in Chopta, enjoying its peaceful ambience and natural beauty. You will realise why this trek is considered one of the best in India as you fall asleep under the starry sky with nothing but silence around you.

Day 07: Ghopta-Chandrashila via Tunganath Shiva Temple and back
Altitude: 3690 mt
Trek: 10 km
Time consumed: 7 to 8 hrs
Stay: in hotel/camp
Embark on a journey that will take you through some of the most breathtaking scenery in Uttarakhand on day 3 of the Chopta Chandrashila Trek. The day begins with an early breakfast at your base camp in Chopta, where you refuel for the trek.
You will be surrounded by lush green forests and meadows that seem to stretch on forever as you set off towards Tungnath. The trail is well marked and easy to follow. You can concentrate on taking in the breathtaking views.
You reach Tungnath - one of the highest Shiva temples in the world - after about 3km of trekking. The temple is set amidst towering peaks and offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere. It is sure to leave you feeling rejuvenated.
From Tungnath, the trail climbs towards Chandrashila. This is the summit of your trek. As we ascend, the landscape changes to a winter wonderland of snow-capped peaks and frozen rivers.
Climbing to the summit of Chandrashila is an adventure in itself - one that requires both physical endurance and mental strength. But when you reach the top and take in the panoramic views from the summit, all your efforts will be rewarded tenfold.
From here, against a clear blue sky, you can see some of Uttarakhand's highest peaks - including Nanda Devi, Trishul, Kedar Dome and Chaukhamba. The view is simply awe-inspiring. It will leave an indelible mark on your memory for years to come.
It's time to descend to Chopta for a well-deserved rest after spending some time at the summit of Chandrashila. Take a moment to reflect on all that you have experienced over the past few days - from breathtaking views to challenging climbs - as you descend back to civilisation.

Day 08: Chopta-Haridwar / 210 km / 7 to 8 hrs
After breakfast, we will head towards Haridwar, which is one of the seven most revered Hindu pilgrimage spots in India. This is the place where it is believed that the elixir of life, the 'Samudra Manthan', is to have had its origin. In the evening we witness the breathtaking Ganga Aarti ceremony at Har Ki Pauri.Dinner & Overnight at the hotel.
On the last day of the Chopta Chandrashila trek, you wake up with a mixture of emotions. You're sad that the trek is coming to an end, but also grateful for the unforgettable experiences you've had over the past few days. Today you'll head back to Haridwar.
You can't help but feel a sense of nostalgia as you pack your bags and take one last look at the breathtaking views from your campsite. Memories of trekking through lush forests, crossing gushing streams and camping under the stars will last forever.
On this trek, day 3 was particularly memorable as it was the climb from Chopta to the summit of Chandrashila. The climb was tough, yet exhilarating, and the panorama from the top was nothing short of stunning. With snow-capped peaks in every direction, it felt like you were on top of the world.
As you drive back to Haridwar today, you reflect that this trek has been more than just a physical challenge. It's also been a spiritual journey. You feel renewed and invigorated by your time in nature, and the serene beauty of Uttarakhand has left an indelible mark on your soul.
You know this won't be your last trek in Uttarakhand. There is so much more to explore. But for now, as you say goodbye to your team and the trekking guide, you are grateful for this incredible experience that has brought strangers together in the pursuit of adventure and discovery, with a promise to return.

Day 09: Haridwar- Delhi by surface 200 Kms
After breakfast leave for Delhi. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 10: Delhi-Agra by surface 200 Kms
In The afternoon visit the Agra fort containing the halls of private and public audience and other palaces. Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Agra, India. The fort is also known as Lal Qila, Fort Rouge and Red Fort of Agra. It is about 2.5 km northwest of its much more famous sister monument, the Taj Mahal. The fort can be more accurately described as a walled palatial city. It is the most important fort in India. The great Mughals Babur, Humayun, Akbar, Jehangir, Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb lived here, and the country was governed from here.

Day 11: Agra-Del by surface 200 Kms
Visit the renowned Taj Mahal at the sunrise, constructed by Shah Jahan in 1630 to house the mortal remains of his queen Mumtaz Mahal. This structure is an impeccably proportionate work of art made of white marble, a testimony to the skill of 20,000 artisans from Persia, Turkey, France, and Italy who took 17 years to complete this "Love Poem in Marble." (The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays).
Come back to the hotel to have breakfast before check out.
Around noon leave Agra for Delhi. Arrival in Delhi, farewell dinner and departure transfer to airport to connect flight back home.
